Tristar Medical Group relocated to Mildura from Warracknabeal in December 2008 to enable the group to expand its growing operations. The Head Office is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of over 20 medical centres across Victoria and New South Wales. This clinic is a 5 day a week clinic where patients have afterhours access available to them at the Eaglehawk site. The clinics share a database which allows for a higher continuity of patient care between the sites as all doctors have full and immediate access to a patient’s health records. The practice has 8 GP consulting rooms, a practice nurse, a large procedure room, state of the art training facilities and an onsite pathology collection centre with St John of Gold Pathology.

Geelong is located 75km SW of Melbourne with a regional population of 190,000 people. This Port city is the largest regional town in Victoria. It is close to Avalon airport (20km NE of Geelong) which has daily flights to Adelaide, Brisbane, Mackay, Sydney and some South-East Asian destinations. Geelong’s major industries are manufacturing and processing followed by retail. Geelong also boasts some world class educational facilities including Geelong Grammar and Deakin University. The clinic has 8 GP consulting rooms, a practice nurse, a large treatment room and training facilities for the ongoing education of all clinical staff. Kangaroo Flat is the third medical centre that Tristar Medical Group has opened in the Bendigo region. It is an outer suburb of Bendigo, but used to be a prominent Gold Rush town in the 1850’s. The premises of the medical centre is registered with the National Trust. The original red brick cottage was built in the early 1870’s. The clinic has 7 consulting rooms, a large treatment room, a practice nurse, a training room and an onsite pathology collection centre.

Kaniva is a small town situated half way between Melbourne and Adelaide. It is a small rural township surrounded by the best of Australia’s grain and sheep farming. This clinic provides all the local GP services to the community. The services offered are minor surgical procedures, men and womens health, child and adult immunizations, diabetes management. This clinic is responsible for all on call and the GP is assisted by a practice nurse.

Kimberely Clinic is located approximately 3 and a half hours from Melbourne, in the small rural township of Penshurst in South West Victoria. This clinic provides all GP, mental health and on call services to a population of around 1000 including a large farming population. Kimberley Clinic supports the local hospital with doctors admitting and managing their own patients. This clinic also services a small local town of Dunkeld.

Tristar Medical Group - Mildura is located in the town of Mildura in North West Victoria. This modern metropolis is one of the fastest growing inland centres and is home to over 45,000 people. This riverside resort draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. The practice is a state of the art 'super clinic'. This brand new practice is a proud teaching practice that provides valuable learning experiences for medical students, graduates and international medical graduates utilizing an accredited GP trainer onsite.

This practice is fully computerized using Medical Director clinical software and Medi-Flex appointment systems. With 12 consultation rooms, large procedure room and Pathology on site.

Located half way between Melbourne and Adelaide in North West Victoria in a small rural township. Tristar Medical Group Nhill provides comprehensive products and services to the Nhil area. Tristar has added the services of a clinical nurse as well as two female practioners to provide Nhill women with health services. Tristar Medical Group Nhill has a long standing relationship with the Nhill hospital. The hospital runs theatre up to five days a week with visiting specialists from surrounding areas. Visiting surgeons include orthopaedic and optometrist.

Portland is situated along Victoria’s South West Coast. It is a growing population due the large port situated in the township. The clinic consists of 3 consultation rooms, 1 procedure room. It is a seven day a week clinic with rotating shifts for the doctors and the assistance of a practice nurse for EPC management and procedures. Services offered at this clinic include a Womens clinic, osteoporosis management, immunizations, prostate screening and other general GP services.

Jeparit and Rainbow are small towns located in North West Victoria. These towns are located in the Wimmera River Heritage area and together these towns have a population of around 1,500. Tristar Medical Group provides services to both these towns with a session in each per day. The clinics are fully computerized utilizing Medi-flex and Medical Director.

Sunbury is located 41km north-west of Melbourne’s CBD, and is only 15 minutes from Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport. It has a population of approximately 34,000 people. The practice has 7 consulting rooms, a large procedure room, a state of the art conference/training room and houses an onsite pathology collection centre.

Warracknabeal Medical Centre is the base for the Tristar Medical Group coordinating the enhancement of primary care management. Situated 4 ½ hours drive from Melbourne in North West Victoria. Consisting of three consulting rooms and a procedure room this centre provides all GP services to the local community including on call services on a rotating roster with other local doctors.
