All our immunisation services are conducted under the National Immunisation Program, seasonal (flu) travel and employment vaccinations including hepatitis B and tetanus.
All centres comply with Australian standards and are fully accredited for the storage of immunisations and vaccinations.
Some of our clinics are also accredited to administer yellow fever and Q fever vaccinations. If you require these vaccinations, please contact your local Tristar Medical Group clinic and make an appointment.
Yellow Fever Vaccinations
Yellow fever is a viral disease found in parts of Africa and the Americas which is transmitted by mosquitoes. It can lead to extreme illness and can be terminal.
If you are travelling overseas to these areas, it is extremely advisable to get the Yellow fever vaccine. Yellow fever vaccination requires specific Accreditation standards. Please contact your local Tristar Medical Group Clinic to inquire whether this vaccination is available.

Q Fever Vaccinations
Q Fever is an infection that is most often contracted from direct or indirect contact with animals such as cattle, sheep and goats. Vaccination is recommended for:
- Abattoir workers
- Farmers and stockyard workers
- Shearers and wool sorters
Others exposed to cattle, camels, sheep, goats and kangaroos and their products. Q Fever vaccination can only be administered by approved Q Fever vaccination providers.
