We currently have available, consultancy positions for AHPRA endorsed Mental Health Practitioners to join our friendly team to work in various locations across Australia.

Tristar Medical Group is a rapidly expanding company which aims to provide high quality, accessible, multidisciplinary and integrated health care services to regional and rural communities. We operate throughout 5 states, with all our practices being fully computerised and predominantly bulk-billing.

There is flexibility in the hours that you may work in addition to the amount of time you wish to devote to the role. The majority of our clinics open from 8.00am – 8.00pm Mon-Fri and 10.00am – 6.00pm on weekends. 


In this role, you will provide psychotherapeutic, diagnostic and pharmacological interventions to a shared consumer demographic in conjunction with our team of General Practitioners and Psychiatrists. Your services will complement the efforts of the General Practitioner and Psychiatrist and serve to deliver your consumers with a comprehensive prevention and recovery focused care package that allows for high-quality outcomes to be achieved.


  • Hold current AHPRA registration as a Mental Health Nurses Practitioner
  • Extensive clinical experience (across the lifespan inclusive of child and adolescent, adults, the elderly, in addition to substance use disorders is advantageous).
  • Sound theoretical understanding of Psychotherapeutic, diagnostic and Pharmacological modalities and advanced skills in their application to clinical care
